LMD series new energy bus air conditioning is a kind of roof mounted air conditioner, with single air return area, and with different models to apply for the electric buses from 8m to 12m. The LMD series supports with various optional technology, like the Cloud control technology, the high-voltage connection anti-loosening technology, the roof unit integrated battery thermal management system(BTMS) technology, the vehicle thermal management technology, the DC750 high voltage technology, the Condensation water reduction technology, the air purifier technology inside the bus and the energy-saving aluminum alloy compressor.

Technical Note:

1. The input power voltage of the air conditioner can adapt to DC320-DC820V, and it can be as low as to DC260V after starting, and the control voltage is DC24V (DC20-DC28.8). The technical status of the trolleybus air conditioner needs to be specifically confirmed with SONGZ, because the control method of this type of air conditioner is different, and the rated voltage of the trolleybus in foreign countries is different.

2. The refrigerant is R407C.

3. The fan is DC motor.

4. Integrated battery thermal management options:

4.1. The charging outlet water temperature is 7℃-15℃, the discharging outlet water temperature is 11℃-20℃, charging ≤10Kw, discharging ≤1-3Kw, the compressor needs to use Panasonic compressor;

4.2. The charging outlet water temperature is 7℃-15℃, the discharging outlet water temperature is 11℃-20℃, charging ≤10Kw, discharging ≤1-5Kw, the compressor needs to use Hitachi compressor;

4.3. The outlet water temperature of charging is 7℃-15℃, the outlet water temperature of discharging is 11℃-20℃, charging ≤10Kw, discharging ≤3-6Kw, Emerson compressor should be selected.

The LMD Series E-Bus AC Functions Upgrade (Optional)

In addition to the basic functions of refrigeration, heat pump heating and ventilation, the product can also upgrade the following functions according to customer and environmental requirements:

1. The ultra-low temperature heat pump heating function realizes -15 ℃ to meet the heat load of the whole vehicle, and -25 ℃ continuous heat pump operation.

2. Low-temperature heat pump heating function, to achieve high-efficiency heating in -3 ℃ low temperature environment.

3. Innovative development of two-stage compression engineering prototype, which can achieve stable operation at -35℃.

4. Develop new functions for hybrid bus, which can realize the heating function of the air conditioner for the bus, and provide the cooling function for the vehicle battery pack, protect the battery safety, and extend the battery life.

5. Integrated battery thermal management function, outputting 3-10kw battery cooling capacity according to customer requirements without affecting the cooling effect of the vehicle.

6. Air purification function, including four functions: electrostatic dust collection, ultraviolet light, strong ion generator, and photo catalyst filtration, to achieve sterilization, odor removal and efficient dust removal, and effectively block the transmission of viruses.

7. “Cloud control” function, realize remote control and diagnosis, and improve product service and monitoring capabilities through big data application.

8. PTC electric heating, according to different configurations and ambient temperature, start PTC in time, assist heating, and realize heating in the full temperature range.
