Leaders from SAIC GM and Pan Asia Technology Center visited SONGZ

On March 10, 2021, SONGZ officially got the SAIC-GM K218 condenser project!
With the development of business, in order to further strengthen the exchanges between the two sides, on March 18, 2021, SAIC-GM supplier management leaders and Pan-Asian Technology Center leaders visited SONGZ respectively. Mr. Li Gang, vice president and general manager of the car business department of SONGZ, Dr. Feng Qin, the dean of the research institute and deputy general manager of the car business department, and Mr. Chen Wenzhong, deputy general manager of the car business department, warmly received the car project team.
First, in the exchange meeting, the car team gave a detailed introduction to the customer on the current market situation, technical capabilities, manufacturing and business layout, etc., and the two parties had a lively discussion on the official commissioning of the K218 project and the in-depth cooperation with SGM in the future.

Subsequently, accompanied by the company’s management leaders, SAIC-GM’s Supplier Quality and Pan-Asian Technology Center leaders visited and investigated the company’s R&D and production sites respectively. Under the professional introduction of the on-site explanation team, the guests visited various production lines, especially the key stations such as HVAC production line and condenser production line, and expressed their affirmation of SONGZ’s R&D, manufacturing and management capabilities.

Through this visit, it is of great significance to the further cooperation of business projects between the two parties; at the same time, it also deepens SAIC-GM’s understanding of SONGZ’s software and hardware capabilities.
