 SZG series is a kind of roof-mounted air conditioner for mini and midi city bus or tourist bus. It is applicable to 6-8.4m city bus and 5-8.9m tourist bus. In order to have the widest range of the application of the bus models, there are two kinds of width of the SZG series, in 1826mm and 1640 respectively.

    Features windward installation with large windward area. Inlet vents on both sides of the condenser top cover further reduce air resistance and enhance heat transfer efficiency. Fan layout optimized via CFD simulation leverages vehicle driving airflow to maximize operational energy efficiency.

    Lightweight Structure

    Adopts bottomless windward condenser design, with overall length within 2.5 meters. Compact layout ensures minimized weight and volume for space-efficient vehicle integration.

    Eco-Friendly Bottom Shell Material

    SZGZ (narrow-body) models use LFT (Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics) + aluminum alloy for the bottom shell, offering higher specific stiffness/strength, superior impact resistance, improved creep resistance, and dimensional stability compared to composite materials. Total weight reduced by ~15%.

    Tool-Free Installation & Maintenance

    SZG wide-body series condensers feature hinged top cover design, eliminating the need for full cover removal during installation and saving 50% setup time. Condenser fans install from top-to-bottom, allowing maintenance without opening the cover. Evaporator fan access requires only partial side cover removal for simplified after-sales service.

    Enhanced Safety Design

    Eliminates secondary bonding on roof-mounted evaporator side beams. Innovate integrated bottom shell bending structure for air duct reduces overall weight while preventing water leakage during rain.

    Versatile Application Range

    SZG full series suitable for domestic buses (6-8.4m) and tourist vehicles (5-8.9m). SZGZ narrow-body models are 180mm narrower in total width and 120mm closer in air outlet spacing than wide-body versions, compatible with smaller vehicle platforms.

    Functions Upgrade(Optional)

    In addition to the basic functions of refrigeration, heat pump heating and ventilation, the product can also upgrade the following functions according to customer and environmental requirements:

    Plumbing and heating technology

    The water heating pipe can be led out from the core of the evaporator to realize the heating function of the air conditioner and meet the requirements of the ambient temperature in the bus in the cold area.

    Integrated central control technology:

    The integration of the control panel and the vehicle instrumentation is convenient for the centralized layout of vehicle control. The remote control function of product control is added to facilitate customer operation management.

    Applicable to Ultra-low Temperature

    It can increase the condensing fan and optimize the system reasonably, which is suitable for the 10-12m bus air conditioner in summer in the cold regions such as Northern Europe.

    Air purification technology

    It includes mainly four functions: electrostatic dust collection, ultraviolet light, strong ion generator, and photocatalyst filtration, which can achieve full-time, uninterrupted anti-virus and sterilization, odor removal and efficient dust removal, effectively blocking the virus transmission path.

    Energy Regulation Technology

    According to the temperature in the bus and the environment, the flow of the fan and compressor is adjusted in multiple stages to reduce the frequent start and stop of the compressor, improve the overall comfort of the passengers, and ensure that the system operates more efficiently.
