As the world's largest and most important commercial vehicle expo, the 66th IAA international commercial auto show was held in hannover, Germany, for eight days from September 22 to 29, 2016. The exhibition attracted more than 240,000 professional visitors. The exhibition, which has been held since 1897, has a history of more than 100 years. It is one of the oldest professional exhibitions in the world and the oldest exhibition in Germany.
Under the theme of Driven by ideas, the mainstream manufacturers in the industry have exhibited pure electric vehicles, indicating the future trend of commercial vehicles moving towards electrification. Including Daimler platform focusing on the science fiction colour (Future) series bus, truck and the van, for visitors paints a picture of the Future transportation electrification blueprint, and with other electric vehicles manufacturers booth, IAA electric wave of the exhibition.
